Payment
A 20% non-refundable booking fee is to be paid on booking and the rest no later than 60 days before arrival. In the unfortunate event that you are unable to utilize your accommodation, you are advised to resolve it with your insurance company.
Electricity and water costs is deducted from the deposit. If you have used less electricity and water than the deposit, the remaining amount will be refunded upon check out.
Check In
We meet you with keys and information at the accommodation. We also read electricity and water together.

Internet
Our accommodations includes wi-fi with fiber netwok. Many restaurants also offer free WiFi. You can buy SIM cards for your mobile at 7-Eleven or in phone shops at Lanta.
Electricity and Water
Electricity costs about as much as in Northern Europe/Sweden. The cost is largely affected by the number of hours which AC is used.
Cleaning and Housekeeping
Weekly housekeeping is included in all accommodations.
Each accomodation has different agreements when it comes to laundry. Some include weekly washing of sheets and towels. Sheets and towels are to be left to the respective laundry company(s).
Departure cleaning and housekeeping are included in the service fee.

Shops & Amenities
There are many 7-Elevens on the island. They have most things you could need during your stay. If you want to go shopping, we recommend Saladan, where there is a larger grocery store. There are also some bakeries and delicatessens on the island.
Banks and ATMs
Det finns många uttagsautomater på Lanta. Thanachart Bank och Siam Commercial Bank hittar du i Saladan och Kasikorn Bank ligger vid infarten till Southern Lanta Resort på Klong Dao Beach.
Restaurants
There are a wide selection of restaurants, both along the main road and by the beaches. There are several seafood restaurants in Saladan.
In addition to Thai food, international cuisine is also served in many places.

If you need to extend your visa, the easiest way to do so is at immigration in Krabi. Bring passports and photos.

Tuk Tuks and Taxis
A convenient way to get around on Lanta is on a Tuk Tuk. If the driver has an orange, numbered vest, he is managed by the local transportation board. You can also choose to take a taxi with a flatbed truck.
Renting a Moped or Car
You can rent a moped in several places for 200-250 thb / day. Discounts are offered for longer rental periods. Keep cool in traffic and always wear a helmet. When renting a car, you will need an international driving license which you obtain via Motormännen in Sweden or your local transport or motoring authority.
Mosquitoes
There are mosquitoes on Lanta, protect yourself by applying mosquito repellent. Mosquito repellant can be purchased on the island or at your local pharmacy.
Infant Needs
You can buy baby food and diapers at Lanta. Lanta mart, which is located in Saladan, has the largest selection. They are also available at 7-Elevens and at pharmacies.
Drinking Water
You should not drink tap water but you may brush your teeth with it. There is a water truck that drives around Lanta regularly with water bottles. Place your empty water canister with 20 thb under the lid and you will receive a new one. Ice should be made from drinking water.
Clothing and Attire
Pack light and comfortable clothing that you are not afraid of damaging. Avoid wearing swimwear if you are not on the beaches.
